Wang #4 - More Milan

The best thing Milan has brought so far? Alberta Feretti.

Very simple and feminine. A bit voluminous and in the first picture so she looks a bit pregnant but whatever I'd still rock it. The hair fits perfectly and it's a look you can do everyday. Definitely ready-to-wear.

Yes, yes. It probably looks like a 7 year old's horrible disco/cosmic bowling party or a fun acid trip Alberta had, but the whole collection is cohesive. She still sticks to the jewel tones. Always loved her draping and pleating!

Romantic. Love the first look. Really love the first look. Shows the versatility of black tights and mary janes so everyone go buy them now!

Romeo and Juliet on the second pic. Third picture looks like a ripped vagina.

Bye~

Wang #3 - Milan Madness

So Milan started and greeted me with D&G! Great. Now I do like a few looks but they're one of those "they'd look better IF...", you know? It was VERY reminiscent of the 70s, especially the look in the far left bottom corner, with the flare and ruffled chemisiers. But, it was also reminiscent of old grandmothers roaming the streets of Eastern Europe! And I'm totally not down with the whole "I'm a dust bunny" look in the 7th picture. Ugh.

Hello! I smell a Scotch tape commercial! I love the green plaid tights in the first picture but all the pieces are put together a bit uncohesively and it's TOO MUCH. Then again, it is D&G and tackiness has always been a common theme.

70s! Starsky and Hutch is back! Love the look on the bottom left. Very long and voluminous skirts! Time to trade in your Alexander McQueen skull scarf!

Armani greatly surprised me this season. The last thing I'd expect is floral prints. If it weren't for the black background and overall silhouette of the dresses I'd be oblivious to whose collection this is.

This is the classic sophistication and secretary slut in the CEO's office I know Armani for. Great SKIRTS! Beautiful draping. Makes me want to give up carbs for a week and wear ugly fitflops! Just kidding I'd never do that.

Alright I'm done ranting like a gay man on his period.

Wang #2- Too Much Disappointed From NY Fashion Week

Marc Jacobs Fall 08

WTF MARC. How is this ready-to-wear? Where I am going to be ready to wear this? Honestly, this took Marc like several months to make this blanket-like outfits? Who can honestly pull this off without serious modifications? The main reason I am so disappointed is because Marc is suppose to be one of the greatest designers in the world, but this? This is just pure crap.

Catherine Malandrino Fall 08

NO NO NO! Look at this horrible draping! Coco looks like she has a big ass! My poor Coco

Ok..That ONE button on that coat took you how long to make? So plain, boring, simple.

Luella Fall 08

Oh My God. Is it Halloween already? Apparently, this year Ms. Bartley has found a keen interest in costumes.

Oh yeah I just love the crazy witch hair and the unflattering pants. Yes this is completely fashion forward...

Ok Honestly, the production company from Harry Potter should totally call up Luella and ask her if they could use her Fall 08 collection for their upcoming movies, because honestly I can only see witches wearing her clothes this season.

Favorite Trends This Season- Colored Tights
Proenza Schouler Fall 08

I am in love with this collection. The colored tights just complete these looks. The dresses are absolutely fantastic. This collection really shows how to pair colored tights with the right clothes.
Maybe I`ll post more stuff up later. But honestly who cannot love colored tights now?
